English singer songwriter Robbie Williams is set to mentor the finalists in this years X Factor.

Williams, 35, will also be performing songs from his long-awaited album Reality Killed The Video Star, when the ITV show reaches the live stages of the contest in October. Show supremo Simon Cowell, 49, has also decided to theme one of the weeks as Robbie Williams Hits Week, and contestants will have to perform the stars best songs, including Angels, Shes The One and Let Me Entertain You. Brand new Williams’ album will be available in US market in digital version on November 10th by EMI’s Virgin Records.

Robbie Williams brand new studio album will be “Reality Killed the Video Star”. Album will be on sale on November 9th this year. This will be 8th Robbie’s studio album. Producer of the album is Trevor Horn.

Robbie Williams has penned a last-minute Michael Jackson tribute track for his new album. The former Take That star was so moved by the King of Pop’s death that he decided to fiddle around with the tracklisting and add the new song. Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston have been lined up to fill Michael Jackson’s cancelled dates at the O2 arena, it has been claimed.  The promoters AEG hope that both stars will launch their comeback tours at the 20,000 venue in Greenwich, south east London. They have reportedly been pencilled in for dates in January, February and March next year – when Jackson was due to perform the second batch of shows in his 50-date residency. Read the rest…

Police in the Bahamas have questioned the pop star Robbie Williams over an armed robbery against two paparazzi who had snapped him on a beach the previous day.

The photographers, Matt Sanchez of Splash News & Picture Agency and Carlos Mendez, an American freelance – said that four armed men broke into their rented room in the early hours of Sunday.

They were alleged to have held a gun to Mr Sanchez’s head and threatened to kill both men before leaving with $20,000 worth of cash, cameras and other equipment. Read the rest…

Robbie Williams says he is “buzzing” about his new album and is convinced it will resurrect his career. Singer is adamant his new album will be a huge success. The ‘Angels’ singer is currently in the studio working on his long-awaited eighth release and says he’s never felt more positive about a collection of songs. Robbie, who is recording with producer Trevor Horn, said: “It sounds big.
