Robbie Williams’s new girl

Gossips, Personal life 9 Comments

Clare StaplesRobbie Williams is back dating and has winged himself a 6ft blonde former model. The laddish singer—whose string of hits includes Angels—is smitten with stunning Clare Staples, who’s six years older than him. They’ve been seeing each other for six months. She’s the ex-fiancee of TV hypnotist Paul Mckenna, but it’s Robbie’s eyes she’s been looking into lately.

The pair enjoyed a dinner at LA’s Chateau Marmont Hotel with JUDE LAW and Paul, who Clare manages.

I hear Robbie and Clare, left, couldn’t contain their passion and no doubt he was saying Let Me Entertain You when they nipped off for some, ahem, afters during their meal.

An onlooker said: “They couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. No one could take their eyes off Robbie and Clare because they were all over each other. He was constantly touching her legs and whispering in her ear.

“Then things got a bit heated. They went to get the key to Clare’s room and disappeared into the bedroom for 15 minutes. They must fancy the pants off each other.”

Robbie has had a string of celebrity lovers including TARA PALMER-TOMKINSON, All Saints singer NICOLE APPLETON and model RACHEL HUNTER. But pals say the 33-year-old is a changed man and is really happy with the new girl in his life.

My source said: “Clare has been dating Robbie for six months now, and they’re both serious about each other. They are very happy, have loads in common and enjoy spending lots of time together.”

Leggy Clare, 39, wrote a book revealing her tips for keeping a man on a tight leash, called Everything I Know About Men I Learnt From My Dog. And now she’s bagged Britain’s most famous bachelor.

Clare was previously in a five-year relationship with McKenna, right.

They got engaged in Venice but split a year later in 1995, blaming work pressures. Last year she dated ex-Arsenal legend Sol Campbell, and she’s also been linked to Scottish actor Dougray Scott.

Seems things have turned round for Robbie since he checked himself into rehab in February for his addiction to prescription drugs. My source said: “Robbie is on a real health kick and is looking super-fit. He plays lots of football and is writing more and more music. He’s on great form.”

He might also join the Take That reunion tour in the autumn after talks with former bandmate Gary Barlow. They patched up their differences after Mark Owen organised a meeting.

Robbie’s NOT ‘moving in with a man’

News, Personal life 2 Comments

Robbie Williams’s agent has denied reports he is about to return to London to live with a man. Last week, it was claimed rehab Robbie had ask childhood friend, Jonathan Wilkes, if he and his wife Nikki would move into a five bedroom London home with him. But a spokesman for the record breaking Brit Award winner told Hello magazine: ‘It’s absolute rubbish. Robbie already has a flat of his own in Chelsea.’

‘The idea that he would ask if he could move in with Jonathan and his family is just silly.’ ‘He’s not leaving America.’ Williams moved to Los Angeles five years ago to try and break the US charts and battle reported drug and alcohol problems. But last week it was claimed Robbie was set to move back to capital, asking Wilkes to find them a ÂŁ2.3million mansion to share.

It was claimed he wanted Wilkes and his wife, Nikki and one-year-old son Mickey to live with them too. Not so it seems, as Robbie is planning on staying in America and looks forward to welcoming Ant and Dec when they arrive. A friend says: ‘He’s looking forward to a life of golf and football for a while with Ant and Dec when they arrive in America.’ Victoria Beckham is also said to be counting on Robbie to baby-sit her three tots.

The Take That singer, who has been staying in the US for the past five years, will move into an apartment with Wilkes, his wife and their one-year -old son.
The 33-year-old is at the lowest point of his career, for he finished his stint in rehab for prescription drug addiction and his latest album, Rudebox, was criticised by many as a poor attempt.
It seems that Wilkes has already seen several houses in Chiswick in west London, which is very close to TV stars Ant and Dec’s homes.
The rehabbed singer is looking forward to playing football games with his new neighbours.
A close pal said that the singer is coming close to his family, so that he could cope up with the recent failures.
“Robbie is coming home to be close to the people who love hi,” the friend said,” News of the World quoted the pal, as saying.

Robbie: I died it my way

Gossips, Personal life No Comments

Robbie Williams is loving Angels instead of the living, thanks to his paranormal powers. The pop hunk, who has been in rehab recently, has confessed he regularly contacts dead Rat Pack stars – including Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. Robbie, 33, reckons Frank (inset) who had a hit with My Way, helped him record his 2001 album, Swing While You’re Winning.

He said: “I like to play it when I’m at home and Frank approves. He was there when I made it.” The Robster enjoys the company of his ghostly chums so much, he likes to hang out at an LA cemetery. Robbie said in a blog: “My dad (Pete) read Dean Martin obituaries and umpteen books. We are going to his grave to pay our respects to him. But I worry, am I disturbing him?”

Robbie is studying black magic to make better use of his abilities. He added: “I think I do have powers. I’ve seen things. My sister’s dog jumping at her feet, when it had passed away years before. Green lights coming in at my window, too.”

Robbie Williams Buys Joe Pesci A Bentley

News, Personal life 1 Comment

“Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours”, so goes the theme song to Australian super-soap Neighbours. It appears Robbie Williams is a very good neighbour. Word in Hollywood is that he has bought his next door neighbour Actor Joe Pesci a Bentley.

Williams, who lives most of the time in Beverly Hills, got the Italian blood of Pesci boiling when friends parked a car in his driveway.Pesci is reported to have threatened to smash the window of the car in unless it was moved. Williams went and bought a Bentley, drove it into Pesci’s driveway and waited for him to come out fuming … only to tell the actor that the car was a gift. Well, at least that’s the word from Hollywood … and as they say in Hollywood “never let the truth get in the way of a good story”.

Robbie Williams Moving On With Life Post-Rehab

News, Personal life 6 Comments

Los Angeles, CA (BANG) – Robbie Williams says he is getting his life “back on track” after checking out of rehab.

The “Rudebox” singer says all is well following his recent stint at Arizona’s Cottonwood de Tucson clinic, where he was treated for addictions to prescription drugs and caffeine.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “It’s going really good. I got the train back on track. I’ve been sober since February 13 and look at me – I’m brand spanking new again.”

Robbie, 33, also acknowledged that “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell was right to tell him to “get a grip” when he entered rehab.

He said: “I’ve met Simon a few times and I like him. He is usually right about things. He’s probably right about that.”

Robbie checked into Cottowood on February 13 – his 33rd birthday. He left almost a month later on March 3 and has since been seen looking well and partying in Los Angeles.

The star – who has lived in the U.S. for two years – insists he does not want to be a success in America because he enjoys the freedom that comes with his relative anonymity.

He explained: “I decided four albums ago I like living here. I’ve got to the point where I’m famous enough to enjoy my celebrity and do fun stuff without all the crap that goes with it.

“And it would be insane to invite what I have in the rest of the world into this country. So I’m not going to bother promoting or releasing records here.”

Robbie Williams’ Pesci threat

Gossips, Personal life No Comments

Robbie Williams was left terrified after his neighbour Joe Pesci threatened him with a golf club during a furious bust-up.

The 64-year-old actor saw red when Robbie invited his friends over to his Los Angeles home for a game of soccer and they blocked Pesci’s driveway with their cars.

Pesci stormed out brandishing a club, ranting: “Which one of you motherf***ers blocked my drive?

“If you don’t move in 30 seconds, I’m going to smash your windscreen.”

Robbie – who has a soccer pitch at his home and holds weekly matches – initially thought his Oscar-winning neighbour was joking, but quickly realised the star was serious and ordered his friends to move their vehicles.

A pal of the ‘Rudebox’ singer compared the row to a scene from ‘Goodfellas’, in which Pesci played psychotic gangster Tommy DeVito.

The friend told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “It was pretty terrifying in ‘Goodfellas’ when Pesci’s character flew off the handle. Imagine seeing it in real life. Robbie has never had any sort of dispute with his neighbours before and has now given his friends strict instructions to steer clear of Pesci’s driveway.

“One of the things he really likes about Los Angeles is the anonymity – big showdowns are the last thing he wants.”

Conway will travel to LA this week ( begins 12 Mar 2007) to visit his son. He adds, “I am looking forward to seeing him more than you could know.
