The ‘Angels’ singer has become a regular visitor to the Premiere Club, which is located in Swindon near his Wiltshire mansion. Robbie, who is often accompanied by best friend Jonathan Wilkes, has been described as a talent by his opponents. A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Robbie has been in frequently over the last few weeks. He plays to a very high standard and has been having fun with Jonathan.
“He’s getting a reputation as a serious adversary around the poker tables here.” ‘Rudebox’ singer Robbie previously played poker while living in Los Angeles, and even ran his own card school, asking celebrities such as Welsh singer Tom Jones to join him. Tom previously said: “Robbie’s started a poker circle. He’s bought a house up the street from me and has been asking me to join in but I can’t play.” Robbie has been in the UK since last December when he rushed home from his Los Angeles house to visit his mother in hospital, where she underwent a heart bypass operation. He subsequently bought a £7 million mansion in Wiltshire. He is using the property as his main residence while he is working on a new album. (Source: BANG Media International)

Howard Donald has admitted that he had a ‘group w*nk’ with Robbie Williams in the early days of Take That. The singer revealed that the pair masturbated in the same room together when the band first started out. “It were me and Rob… it only happened once,” he told Q magazine.
Bandmate Mark Owen added: “That was an odd one, that. I think I was more of an observer.” Meanwhile, Gary Barlow revealed that the group often had the opportunity to have sex with fans when they were touring Europe.”In Amsterdam, I slept with a fan. I didn’t go out looking for it. It lands on your doorstep,” he said.”Every time we went away for two or three weeks, I’d have a little run of relationships on the way.”

Robbie Williams has been seriously mulling over what the future holds for him. His dilemma is whether to continue chasing his American dream or come back home to Britain for a reunion with Take That. Robbie dashed back to the UK from his home in LA to be with his mum Jan, 67, when she went into hospital for heart bypass surgery on 19 December. ‘Rob’s devastated,’ a friend tells Now. ‘Jan’s everything to him. She’s the person who’ll always stand by him.’
But Robbie, 34, is finding himself torn between two women – Jan and actress girlfriend Ayda Field. He and Ayda, 29, have been dating for 18 months and had talked about spending more time at Robbie’s £7 million home in Compton Bassett, Wiltshire. But just before Christmas Ayda apparently said it would be hard for her to join him. ‘She says she can’t leave Hollywood if she’s to succeed in her acting career,’ says a source. ‘It’s a blow for Rob.’ Robbie had been due to fly to the UK to spend a day between Christmas and New Year at the home of former bandmate Gary Barlow. The pair, who had a bitter falling out when Robbie left Take That in 1995, have become so close over recent months. Robbie’s often hinted that he might want to return to Britain. Recently he said about his stay in LA: ‘I had to go away; how could anybody miss you when you’re always there?’ (source: nowmagazine.co.uk)

Robbie Williams has put Christmas on hold – he will celebrate the festive season when his mother is released from hospital following heart surgery. The Angels hitmaker was shocked when mum Jan underwent a four-hour bypass operation in Cheshire, north England on Sunday (21.12.2008) after doctors discovered a diseased artery. He has been in touch with her by phone from his base in Los Angeles, and has decided to forego the usual festive celebrations until she is well enough to join the family. Read the rest…

Robbie Williams has become a recluse in recent months, according to his friends in Los Angeles. The pop singer was previously a regular on the city’s nightclub circuit, but has been shunning his old associates and spending more time at home with girlfriend Ayda Field.
“I haven’t seen Robbie for ages,” one pal told the Daily Star. “The last time I did, he was sporting an awful Robinson Crusoe style beard and looked as if he hadn’t had a bath in days.” Another source added: “We all know he’s an incredibly talented showman when he’s on the stage and on the hip US club scene. But perhaps it’s just that Robbie is so in love with Ayda he hasn’t got time for clubs any more.”
Williams decided to move across the pond in 2006 following criticism of his Rudebox album. He has since revealed that he enjoys being able to live a normal life in LA, where he is relatively unknown. (source: digitalspy.co.uk)

Robbie Williams is living the bizarre life of a hermit in California, pursuing his obsession with extraterrestrials.
While his former Take That bandmates busily plan their next album on the back of two Brit awards this year, Robbie’s taking part in a Radio 4 show about ETs, set to air at 6.30pm on 6 May. He explains his interest by saying: ‘I think that joining Take That was like leaving on a spaceship and coming back, with all your friends going: “He’s weird now.”’ Until just before Christmas, Robbie had an active social life revolving around his beloved amateur football team LA Vale and constantly had friends round to his mansion. In a move that’s even madder than releasing a pants album called Rudebox and thinking anyone would want to buy it, Robbie Williams has revealed he’s about to quit his pop career… to become a full-time UFO chaser! Williams, currently on strike from record label EMI, was being interviewed by singer Joss Stone when he made the weird confession, telling her he’d been visited by little green men three times. About-to-be-single Robbie Williams has sparked rumours he’s interested in rekindling his romance with Dancing on Ice star Samantha Mumba.
The pair dated casually four years ago when they were both based in Los Angeles but drifted apart due to work commitments. But according to the People newspaper, Robbie has been keeping an eye on Samantha’s progress on the celebrity dance show and has sent her two bouquets of flowers with private messages.
An inside source from the show told the newspaper: “They were beautiful bouquets and everybody wanted to know who they were from. Sam insisted there was nothing going on – but she was beaming from ear to ear.”
The source added that Samantha described her ongoing relationship with the former Take That star as a “close friendship”. (source: fametastic.co.uk)

Robbie Williams has never made a secret of his loneliness, which is caused, in part, by his inability to trust people ’cause he’s so famous. That’s why he only ever hangs out with his dad and that bloke who presented You’ve Been Framed in between Lisa Riley and Harry Hill.
So, we’re heartened to read that Robbie has a new friend he can confide in, someone to lean on and have a kick-about with. Although admittedly, we’re not sure his choice of chum is going to enhance his profile much. Read the rest…
