Robbie Williams news from day: 22. September, 2009

Robbie Williams will open this year’s BBC Electric Proms. He will be accompanied by a string section, horn section and full band. The show features new material from Robbie’s forthcoming album “Reality Killed the Video Star” alongside some classic tracks, under the musical direction of Trevor Horn.

The first single from the album – Bodies – is classic Robbie, a mash-up of a grinding electro bass line with a gospel choir and heavenly strings, as the singer casts an eye over modern life. Read the rest…
