Robbie Williams has been banned from holding a huge concert at a racecourse in Dubai…because his last gig there terrified the ruling sheikh’s horses. The pop star was paid £1million for a sell-out concert at the Nad Al Sheba racecourse – home to the Dubai Gold Cup – in April last year.
But plans for a repeat performance have been shelved after noise from the last concert – the biggest ever held in Dubai – caused a loss of form for billionaire Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s thoroughbred Arabian mares.
Dubai Racing Club chief Frank Gabriel said: “It affected their state of mind and their performance. That will never happen again.” (G. Hodgson, Sundaymirror.co.uk)

Irish boyband WESTLIFE have invited ROBBIE WILLIAMS to join their comeback tour. Westlife have been without a fifth member since Brian MCFadden quit in 2004, and Williams has been band-less since he walked away from their rivals Take That in 1995. And Mandy hitmaker Nicky Byrne is convinced their are a perfect match. He tells British radio station Heart, “Take That should take Brian back and we’ll have Robbie.” Kian Egan adds, “If I was a member of Take That I wouldn’t want Robbie back. I think they’re doing very well without him and Robbie’s doing well on his own. I think people are going to see Take That and not Robbie Williams.”

Pop star Robbie Williams has become ‘addicted’ to sugar-free ice-lollies after piling on the pounds made him the butt of jokes. The singer was labelled ‘Blobby Williams’ by the British press after he left Take That in 1995 and started putting on weight. According to his ex-lover/ actress Suzanne Coppin, the 33-year-old singer now eats sugar-free ice-lollies in order to control his weight.
Suzanne Coppin: “His freezer was huge but all that seemed to be in it were these ice lollies. He said he ate them all the time, as they didn’t make him fat (…)He knows the calorie content off by heart of every single thing he puts in his mouth and is addicted to eating these lollies. He must eat 20 of them a day”. (topnews.in / Nina Sahu)

Robbie Williams shocked his fans recently by saying he loves “wanking and shooting heroin” and that he enjoys “bum sex”.
The merry singer was enjoying a night out in LA when paparazzi approached him, asking him what his plans were. The singer replied: -Shoot heroin and f***! What else? Anal sex!”.
Even though he was dead serious at first, he finally laughed and said he was on his way to McDonalds because he is hungry, TMZ writes.

Britain’s biggest come-back band Take That tell Jonathan they would still like Robbie back in tonight’s edition of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross on BBC One. Asked about their relationship with him they say: “Out of all of us I was the most hopeful,” says Jason. “We all know he’s got a good heart,” adds Howard, “we still love him, but we’d have to spend time with him, see what his personality’s like now.” “The door’s always open,” says Gary. They talk about the inclusion of Gary’s wife Dawn on the tour: “We’ve got a lot of female dancers to impress!” says Howard, who gets to dance with her, “I trust them all!” says Gary.As for their renewed success: “It’s been unbelievable, I don’t think you can expect success like that,” says Gary. “There’s not a night goes by when we think are we still here,” admits Jason. “It was our whole life last time,” says Gary, “but we have other lives now. There’s no question we’ve got all the control, it’s nice to be in control of your own destiny. We’re all respectful of each other, before we do anything it’s a big decision.” The band also perform their new single Rule The World live in the studio. The line-up also includes broadcasting legend and national treasure Sir Terry Wogan, who inadvertently hit the headlines this week after a recent noteworthy edition of Points Of View. “I did the show in moleskin trousers, and the mole was still in there!” he jokes, “when I watch TV I look at people’s faces!”
He also confirms that he has no intention of taking any time off from his busy broadcasting schedule: “I love doing it [Wake Up To Wogan], would I get up at 5.30 every morning to do something I don’t want to do?”. Jonathan is also joined by England ladies’ football star Kelly Smith and comic actor and writer Peter Serafinowicz whose eponymous new sketch show is currently screening on BBC Two.

British singer Robbie Williams would be willing “to kill” for Britney Spears. The former Take That singer – who moved to Los Angeles five years ago – is infuriated by the paparazzi throng he sees outside Britney’s house and wants to do something about it. Robbie confessed to Britain’s The Observer newspaper: “I go past Britney Spears’ house every day on the way to my hike and there are 30 cars outside, and I just want to get out and kill them.”
The 33-year-old Feel singer also revealed he is sacrificing a possible film career to focus on playing soccer and wants his team LA Vale FC to start attracting big names. He said: “I get a lot of nice film offers, TV shows, that are very flattering to receive, but I turn them all down. I take an almost perverse joy in saying ‘no thanks’ to things. “I want my team to be known. I want it to be an attractive team to play for, and I want it to have a buzz around it. All the matches are on the internet, so I encourage it really!”
Robbie says being team captain makes him feel part of a “gang” because he has so many new friends. He added: “I’ve always wanted to be part of a gang, so really I’ve bought myself a gang. They’re all fond of me, and I’m fond of them. “At the beginning, some new lads came in and they started complaining about the amount of time they were getting on the field. I didn’t put this things together for conflict, so I got rid of them.”

Robbie Williams is close to a drink and drugs relapse just eight months after leaving rehab, according to a former lover. He sought help for his addictions at a strict rehabilitation clinic in Tucson, Arizona earlier this year.
But despite intensive therapy for an addiction to painkillers, Williams remains plagued by his demons, according to ex-girlfriend Suzanne Coplin. She tells British newspaper the News of the World: “His addictions are far from behind him. It is a struggle for him to stay out of trouble every second of his life.
“He is just so vulnerable and said to me: ‘When will I be free from this hell?”z

Robbie Williams has revealed that top Premiership stars regularly turn out for his American Sunday League team LA Vale. But the 33-year-old pop star refuses to say who they are.
‘I can’t mention them because they come and play with me off-season and they’re not supposed to. I don’t want to get them in trouble,’ says Robbie. In return for donning the LA Vale strip, Robbie, 33, gives the footy stars unlimited access to his pair of £5m Hollywood mansions. He also makes sure the food and drink flows so they can fully enjoy their sun-bathing before being whisked off to the VIP sections of LA’s most exclusive clubs. It’s not just footy stars that make the trip across the Atlantic either – Robbie’s best pal Jonathan Wilkes, plus close mates Ant and Dec, are all regulars for the glorified pub outfit.
Rumour is Robbie has even tried to enlist French legend Zinedine Zidane, 35. ‘Fans would be staggered by some of the players who’ve turned out,’ reveals a Hollywood source to the Daily Star. ‘Robbie is a great host.’

Phil Hogan, September 30, 2007, The Observer
There’s still plenty of heat in the afternoon as my taxi makes the so-called ‘short’ journey up the spiralling road into the Hollywood Hills, and eventually – after countless twisting miles of Mulholland Drive – plonks me in a cloud of dust outside what I hope is Robbie Williams’s house. I say ‘hope’ because we’ve already been to two that weren’t. But, no, this is it. From the top of the path come shouts, and I see balls being hoofed around, and yellow shirts moving against the blue of the sky and the synthetic green of a five-a-side football pitch.
This is Robbie’s team – LA Vale, baptised in the name of his beloved Port Vale, the team he has followed since boyhood – loosening up for this evening’s game. It’s a fair old gathering – players, knots of friends and family relaxing, someone on crutches. It takes a moment to spot Chairman Williams, as his website calls him, sitting against the fence, in yellow, too, and wearing aviator shades as he confers with his lieutenants. I’m still queasy from the car and feeling white as a wuss amid all this tanned muscle and controlled energy. It would be a shame, after coming all this way, to announce my arrival by throwing up.
