Robbie Williams is planning to take time out from his Take That reunion to write a song for an “adult panto” show. The singer, who has just reunited with his old bandmates, will compose a track for a stage musical created by his friend Jonathan Wilkes. Take That have been spotted shooting their first music video since Robbie Williams rejoined the group. The band spent two days filming the promo for new single The Flood – their first release since William’s quit TT back in 1996. Robbie, Gary Barlow and Co were seen dressed in traditional oarsmen costumes – much like the ones that Oxford and Cambridge rowing teams used to wear – as they shot the video in a row boat on a lake in Berks. Directed by Vaughan Arnell, director of classic Robbie videos including Angels, Feel and, most recently, Bodies, the Morning Sun music video sees Robbie rocketing out of space on an intergalactic voyage through the stars.

Robbie Williams song “Morning Sun” will be released as this year’s single for BBC charity Sport Relief.
The song, taken from his album “Reality Killed The Video Star”, will be released on 8 March, ahead of the Sport Relief weekend which runs from 19 to 21 March. Williams said he was “very happy” to be involved. “Please join us in helping this very worthwhile cause,” he added.
